Tramadol is now a Schedule IV Controlled Substance in Georgia

Beginning on Tuesday April 29, 2014 all drug products containing Tramadol are Schedule IV Controlled Substances in Georgia. This includes all single entity and combination Tramadol products. This scheduling action took place after Governor Deal signed House Bill 835, and the law took effect immediately.

Dispensing auto-injectable Epinephrine to schools

During the 2013 Legislative Session, Georgia's law changed to allow pharmacists to fill auto-injectable Epinephrine prescriptions written by physicians, APRNs, and PAs in the nname of a public or private school.
